Dede Ranahan is a 25-year advocate for mental health care. She worked for NAMI (National Alliance for Mental Illness) for several years, including as the NAMI California Policy Director for the Mental Health Services Act (Prop 63). Following retirement, she created and currently maintains a website and blog as a safe place for families to talk about mental illness in their loved ones.
